About The Position

Assist in the development of Integrated Service Plans for the FE and the Social Services area for Head Start in accordance with the National Head Start Performance Standards. Develop and implement policies and procedures concerning the role, function, duties and responsibilities of service area staff as well as in the provision of family support services to Head Start families. Responsible for providing training and technical assistance, resources and monitoring of service area staff to ensure that Head Start Performance Standards are met in the provision of services to families.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Human Services or related field
  • Three (3) Years Supervisory/Administrative Experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Bilingual Language abilities a plus English/Spanish
  • Luzerne County Head Start, Inc. requires staff to possess current, valid Background Clearances (3) per state/federal regulations.
  • Position will require record check approval of driving record by LCHS Insurance Provider, as this position is considered a designated position requiring driving as an essential job function.
  • Proof of Degree/Certification and experience required to meet the qualifications for the position.
