About The Position

Serves as the primary point of contact for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House, ensuring a safe, supportive, and well‑coordinated environment throughout their stay.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience, required.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, friendly, compassionate, and able to relate to diverse groups of people.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment, and ability to keep a level-head in stressful situations.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and ability to multi-task.
• Effective attention to detail and computer skills.
• Experience using computer systems to compile and monitor written and statistical reports, preferred.
• OCCASIONALLY: Lifting / Carrying: 0-10 lbs, Standing, Walking
• FREQUENTLY: Computer skills, Decision Making, Hand use: grasping, gripping, turning, Problem solving, Repetitive hand/arm use

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary family liaison, ensuring effective communication and maintaining positive relationships with families.
• Coordinates guest services, leading front desk functions, scheduling liaison operations, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for families.
• Collaborates with hospital social workers, nursing staff, and other partners to coordinate family needs and ensure continuity between hospital and House resources.
• Manages documentation and reporting, processing referrals, entering guest records, and creating reports.
• Oversees the intern program and supports liaison team, assisting with onboarding and training.
