We are seeking a skilled Family Nurse Practitioner for a Full Time role working in a clinical setting. As a member of the health care team, the Family Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare to individuals and families across the lifespan and provide support to the Medical Department’s professional staff.

Requirements

  • Possession of a current California licensure as a Family Nurse Practicitioner
  • One year of supervisory experience in an ambulatory clinic preferred
  • Current BLS/ALS certificate preferred
  • Must pass Occupational Health Screening.
  • Must possess a valid form of identification as listed on the U.S. Department of Justice I-9 form, verified using the E Verify system.
  • Clean DMV driving record and MACT auto insurance driving eligibility (determined by auto insurance carrier).

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary medical services of patients of all ages
  • Evaluate and treat acute injuries and illnesses
  • Conduct and record results of physical examinations
  • Arrange all follow up lab work, x-rays, and outside patient care needs
  • Provide patient education for health promotion, risk management and disease prevention
  • Interface with community and assist patients in utilizing resources
  • Maintain case records as required within the regulations and requirements of our funding agencies
  • Meet regularly with other clinic providers to review patient care issues and concerns and actively participates in Quality and Performance Improvement activities
  • Maintain good working relations among all staff through appropriate communications
