About The Position

CACI is hiring a Federal Financial Analyst to support our government agency's IT operations. We are looking for someone who possesses at least 3 years of experience in federal financial accounting and reporting. Ideal candidate will also have strong analytical skills and a desire to enhance those skills in a challenging, high visibility environment.

Requirements

  • US citizenship able to pass a Tier 2 MBI background investigation upon hire
  • 3+ years of experience working with Federal Financial/Accounting practices or Momentum Financials front-end and preferably database
  • Knowledge of federal financials processes such as General Ledger, Budgeting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial reporting
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team to solve problems
  • Must be able to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Flexibility to put in hours needed to meet tight deadlines
  • Must have thorough knowledge of Agile principles and methodologies and experience working in an agile environment

Nice To Haves

  • Top Secret security clearance
  • Experience working in a government environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate across multiple development efforts to ensure system interfaces and/or data conversion and cleanse decisions are consistent with requirements/expectations/regulations
  • Collaborate with developers, database administrators, and other technical specialists
  • Create synergies by leveraging the expertise of other workstreams to better understand the organization’s business processes
  • Monitor, track, and troubleshoot application operations and data, analyzing incidents and working with the technical team to resolve issues
  • Quality assurance standards and processes for validation and verification efforts
  • Software development best practices.
  • Seek out and implement process improvement initiatives
  • Functional support, document requirements, create detailed design specifications, and document business processes
  • Conduct design reviews.
  • Establish acceptance criteria.
  • Understand business processes and create process maps as required
  • Ability to learn to analyze, resolve, configure, and reconcile Momentum Financial reports
