About The Position

Job Details: Working conditions: Must be able to work in all-weather/climate conditions from very cold to very hot and humid. Must be able to work in a dusty environment. This position pays $19.65/hr. No bonus. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday 6:00am- 2:00pm Weekends/holidays are expected depending on company needs.

Requirements

HS diploma or equivalent preferred
1 year feed mill experience preferred
Basic Math Skills
Communication Skills
Basic mechanical Skills
Basic computer skill
Must have the ability to certify and maintain PIT Certification
Must have the ability to certify as a Weigh Master
Must have the ability to achieve and maintain respirator certification where applicable (ability be clean shaven)
Valid Class D License where applicable
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Batching Opr. Six (6) months of feed mill experience preferred.
High school degree or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 months continuous experience in Industrial/Manufacturing/Construction/Landscaping/Ranching/Farming environment.
180 days wait period from last termination date.
3X rule (candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3X before).

Responsibilities

Must have the ability to accurately record data
Must have the ability to accurately calculate the amount of feed you can produce
Must have the ability to accurately read a tape measure for end of shift inventory
Must have the ability to open heavy doors and clean out mills
Ability to push/pull pallet jack with bulk/1 ton bags of ingredients and hang them
Must have the ability to perform minor maintenance duties using hand tools
Must be Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.
Must have the ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling
Must have the ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures
Must be Able to abide by the Company Biosecurity Guildelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species
Maintain good housekeeping including service areas
Communicate with dispatch to make sure the feed they need is being produced
Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols
Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs with assistance
Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day.
Complete all other tasks assigned by management.
