About The Position

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in fiber optics, low voltage, or structured cabling
• Experience in data centers or commercial construction preferred
• Ability to read prints and follow install standards
• Familiarity with fiber termination and testing is a plus
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work overtime and travel if needed
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening

Nice To Haves

• Data center experience
• Fiber splicing or testing experience
• BICSI or similar certifications

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure fiber optic and low-voltage cabling
• Perform fiber terminations (LC, SC, MPO preferred)
• Assist with fiber testing (OTDR, power meter a plus)
• Install cable trays, pathways, and supports
• Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
• Work alongside project teams to meet deadlines and quality standards

Benefits

• $33.00–$45.00 per hour depending on experience
