About The Position

Critical to our field operations, the Field Administrator is responsible for accurately entering employee hours to ensure timely and correct payroll processing, resolving payroll discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Six (6) to twelve (12) months of applicable experience.
  • Some knowledge of general office practices and procedures
  • Basic PC skills with ability to enter data and verify accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information or issues
  • Must be able to pay close attention to details and to learn good planning, organization, and time management skills

  • Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
  • Position will require the frequent use of MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, UKG Workforce Management and Blue Beam PDF Software.
  • Position requires as many hours needed to fulfill the daily and weekly obligations required to carry out the functions.
  • Working long days including evenings and weekends can be required for this position.
  • This position is indoors and may sit for long periods of eight (8) hours or more per day.
  • Occasionally this position may require need to be outdoors for short periods of time.
  • Position is in a highly industrial work environment.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, audit, and input daily/weekly timesheets, ensuring accuracy in hours, job codes, and cost codes.
  • Support the payroll department by ensuring timely submission of attendance data.
  • Resolve payroll issues, such as missing hours or incorrect rates, and coordinate with Payroll and HR to correct.
  • Assure that all detailed steps supporting these responsibilities are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Produce appropriate summary reports of activity and file copies accurately
  • Provide general administrative support, such as communicating company policies, managing union requirements, and interacting directly with field staff.
  • Point of contact for onsite payroll check distribution.
