About The Position

Essential Functions: Responsible for always ensuring a safe jobsite and for having Molin’s Safety Manual available. Conduct toolbox talks, confront and redirect all unsafe behaviors immediately and verify each Molin team member has been properly trained in safety, fall protection, use of PPE, and all other safety concerns. Create and communicate daily action plan to include details about the work to be performed, safety and quality requirements and end results expected according to construction documents. Complete and review Daily Safety/Project Plan each day before beginning work. On installed precast concrete product, assess and determine which areas of Architectural and Structural precast concrete are non-conforming and require patching, repair or finishing work completed. Review shop drawings and product specifications to understand repair requirements. Precast finishes applied will include thin brick, stone, sandblasted, exposed aggregate, light etched and structural gray Utilizing tools and equipment, along with industry patching and repair techniques to provide the final product and finished appearance to match the customers’ expectations. Select proper materials to match color, texture and finish Perform routine maintenance/housekeeping of jobsite to maintain order and safe conditions. Maintains an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies. Inform necessary contact for restocking of supplies. Added Responsibilities: Concrete grinding, patching and repair as required. Welding when required (certification a plus, will train or certify). Understanding of concrete mix designs. Communication and interpersonal skills to interact with co-workers, and General Contractors. Understand jobsite safety requirements. Secures and maintains a safe construction site. Sets up required equipment and appropriate fall protection measures to perform the daily tasks in a safe efficient manner. Construction lift use and other small equipment use as required. Certification of lift use will be required. Ability to incorporate technology into daily activities through use of company provided tablet. Pronovos software utilized for Field documentation.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent
  • 5+ years of Concrete and Masonry patching experience and knowledge required
  • Passion for safety
  • Must be comfortable working from heights
  • Understanding of all Federal and State OSHA regulations regarding jobsite safety requirements
  • Capacity to remain calm even during stressful driving conditions
  • Excellent team player
  • Good verbal communications skills
  • Strong aptitude for reading blueprints
  • Skilled in use of power tools (caulking guns (handheld and battery operated), hammer drills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Good organization and planning skills
  • Accurate reading of tape measurements
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and understanding of finishing requirements as noted.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • DOT medcard
  • Scissor and boom lift certification
  • OSHA 10/30

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory or foreman experience preferred
  • Welding certification
  • Understanding of concrete mix designs
