In this highly visible role, you will help bring Sodexo’s brand and programs to life across campus, supporting growth, customer engagement, and memorable dining experiences for students, faculty, staff, and guests. Working closely with campus partners and Sodexo operational teams, the Field Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in strengthening customer satisfaction, driving participation in dining programs, and supporting revenue-generating initiatives—all while aligning with SLU’s values of service, collaboration, and social responsibility.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of marketing experience, preferably in a campus, hospitality, retail, or consumer-focused environment
  • Strong computer skills with a focus on social media and digital marketing tools
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong project management and organizational skills
  • Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Drive growth through the planning, development, and execution of marketing and growth initiatives, including non-mandatory sales, pricing strategies, retail and catering promotions, new sales and retention efforts, eCommerce initiatives, and mutualized promotions.
  • Develop and implement plans to increase customer insight and satisfaction through surveys, focus groups, engagement promotions, and the effective use of relevant technology.
  • Create and manage internal and external communications across multiple channels, including websites, social media platforms, innovation-sharing tools, and best-practice forums.
  • Forge strong, collaborative relationships with campus stakeholders and Sodexo teams to create transformative customer experiences.
  • Establish and maintain program awareness through an active, on-site presence, engaging directly with the campus community and supporting events, promotions, and activations.
