What we are looking for: The Field Marketing Manager (FMM) is responsible for strategizing, planning and executing regional marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, customer engagement and business growth at the local level. This role leads the charge on events management, thru-year strategic partnerships, activations and logistics coordination - ensuring seamless execution for all field marketing efforts. Success in this role requires creative thinking, operational excellence and nimble leadership. The JARS FMM is our boots on the ground that gives our consumers an emotional connection with the brand. A passion for community, project management and measurables results in a fast-paced environment is a must.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of marketing or event experience in similar role
  • Knowledge of the market and connections within the event industry
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Success in field environments - lots of windshield time
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays if required for brand events.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
  • Must be 21 years of age or older & have reliable transportation
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check

Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain and grow JARS thru-year partnerships within entertainment, sports, community and music to strengthen our brand awareness and authenticity.
  • Conceptualize, develop and lead events with premium execution that elevate the JARS brand.
  • Lead and manage field execution and logistics including all operational aspects of field marketing - infrastructure, assets, inventory, vendors, permits, staffing, budget, compliance, etc.
  • Hire, train and coach Field Marketing Representatives (FMRs).
  • Leverage all parts of the marketing mix to create effective field marketing initiatives that drive sales and new customer traffic.
  • Project management for marketing initiatives that are outside of the 4 walls of retail with strong cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, creative and retail.
  • Identify market opportunities and innovation that authentically align with JARS.
  • Create measurable goals and objectives for JARS field marketing programs and measure success with thorough evaluation of ROI.
  • Stay up to date with cannabis regulations, policies and trends to ensure field marketing feasibility and success.
