**Job Description / Information**

Provides management and sales direction for a geographical district within the US Domestic Market for Mako Sales. Drives continuous account growth and utilization of the clinical base by working with all levels, including Mako Product Specialists, Account Executives, key hospital staff, thought leaders and referring doctors in district to develop a referral base and increase procedural/implant volume. Drives case volume and site growth within district and develops team to translate clinical benefits of Mako into the economic benefits. Monitors and actions the gathering of purchase orders for products consumed during surgical procedures and insures adherence to policies regarding consigned inventories of company's products. Provides training, ongoing in-services, and customer education in support of the Sales effort. Drives feedback on product design to improve performance, quality and customer satisfaction. Partners with Account Executives and other cross functional teams in selling the clinical benefits of the company?s products. Provides quotes, pricing and strategy for implant sales and new robotic applications or upgrades. Manages and develops all levels of Mako Product Specialist within multiple locations.



Essential Duties & Responsibilites



? Works with the team and Dir, Robotic Sales to effectively manage activities to insure optimal sales growth, clinical results, strategy, business plans, and maintains superior customer satisfaction

? In-depth knowledge of key account profiles, targets, influence patterns and barriers to growth

? Prioritization of prospects for training, events, and other sales activities

? Build, develop and coach the Mako Product Specialist team and communicate performance expectations.

? Partners with Regional Launch Team & Marketing to ensure optimal account launches

? Collaborate with Mako Product Specialists to deliver sales objectives, and profitability of the company?s products, and new product upgrades.

? Insures the adoption and adherence to Sales Process, CRM population, and management requests

? Exercise sound judgment and oversight to ensure integrity and compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. Promote integrity within the group.

? Maintain and drive accurate procedure and revenue forecasting.

? Responsible for building and maintaining world class relationships with customers within assigned district.

? Partner with RIO Regional Managers and Account Executives in selling the clinical benefits of the company?s products to drive adoption of the company?s robotic arm platform

? Responsible for outstanding performance, utilization, margin and sales growth at the district level

? Attends sales training meetings, as well as trade shows and other events that would tend to promote and give visibility to the Company?s products

? Consistently meets or exceeds team sales, pricing, procedure and revenue targets

? Consistently meets or exceeds company targets on procedure and system upgrade pricing

? Must maintain current credentials as required by Stryker and clinical sites (i.e. EHS training, vaccination requirements, HIPAA certifications, etc.)



**Minimum Qualifications**

Qualifications and Experience



? Bachelor?s Degree in business or a related technical field of study

? 6+ years demonstrated level of achievement in Surgical and a minimum of 2 years managing a team.

? Demonstrated background and experience in performance management of a sales team.

? Demonstrated ability to communicate with surgeons and allied healthcare professionals

? Highly developed contextual selling skills that result in strong, trusting customer relationships with demonstrated record of personal and team performance

? Demonstrated experience in surgical orthopedics.

? Demonstrated verbal communication skills (both in groups and one-on-one interaction) and written communication skills

? Demonstrated ability to influence/ guide cross functional teams

? Demonstrated track record of coaching and developing next-generation leaders.
