About The Position

We’re seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Field Marketer to build depthfirst’s field marketing program. You will help set our field marketing strategy and will own its execution. You will contribute to building brand awareness through memorable presences at large industry trade shows and building pipeline through our own events and participation in smaller trade shows and local events. You’re excited about this role because you will… • Own depthfirst’s first presence at Black Hat, including creating a stand-out, experiential booth to build awareness and planning and executing smaller events during the conference to build pipeline. • Build a repeatable and scalable event motion, including: • Upscale, invite-only events for executives in target accounts • Other types of depthfirst-hosted, thought leadership events in collaboration with security partners and customers • Partner roadshows and co-marketing events • Regional conferences • Partner with BDRs and AEs to identify target accounts, secure attendance, set meetings, and progress deals after events. • Write copy and messaging for invites, landing pages, email sequences, reminders, and post-event follow-up. • Own event operations end-to-end: budgeting, venue and vendor sourcing, logistics, staffing, and onsite execution. • Create a field playbook that scales: templates, outreach workflows, run-of-show, budget tiers, staffing plans, and reporting.

Requirements

  • 5–12 years of B2B field marketing experience, with a track record of running events that improve brand awareness and drive pipeline.
  • Proven ability to own end-to-end event execution: targeting, outreach, registration, logistics, onsite, and follow-through.
  • Experience in a strong field marketing org. You’ve seen what “great” looks like and can recreate it at a startup.
  • Comfortable operating and executing independently.
  • Strong cross-functional partner, especially with sales teams (BDRs, AEs) and leadership.
  • Metrics-oriented. You can define what success means, instrument it, and report it clearly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in cybersecurity.
  • Partner and channel co-marketing experience.
  • Experience building a field program from scratch at a high-growth startup.
