As a Field Operator, you’ll help manufacture chemicals that clean the earth and protect people.  THE OPPORTUNITY Reporting to the Permanganate Shift Supervisors, the Field Operator will: Safely and effectively operates and controls equipment and instrumentation in the assigned manufacturing unit in normal and emergency situations Maintains and monitors process equipment in accordance with established procedures and processes. Maintains and improves safety in the unit and is responsible for housekeeping in operating areas. Receives and processes raw materials using chemical reactions and manufacturing operations to produce finished products at the specified quality level Supports and adheres to the principles of the American Chemistry Council's Responsible Care® and applicable regulatory requirements by protecting the environment and assuring the health, safety and security of our employees, customers, suppliers, and our community. Performs additional work as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays with a willingness to work overtime to support a continuous operation 
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

  • Chemical manufacturing or laboratory experience or course work in chemistry, chemical engineering or the natural sciences a plus
