About The Position

Rite Rug Flooring is looking for a Field Representative to oversee flooring installations in new construction homes. This position serves as the company’s eyes and ears in the field, ensuring homes are ready for installation, installers have what they need, and finished work meets quality standards. The Field Rep works closely with installers, builders, and the Rite Rug office to keep projects moving and make sure each installation is completed correctly and on schedule. $50,000 a year.

Requirements

• Construction or flooring experience preferred
• Ability to read plans and identify jobsite issues
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Organized and able to manage multiple job sites
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Field measure homes and verify flooring quantities
• Inspect homes before installation to ensure they are ready for flooring
• Identify and report jobsite issues such as framing, subfloor, or plumbing problems
• Visit jobs during installation to support installers and resolve issues quickly
• Communicate with builder project managers regarding job status and delays
• Inspect completed installations for quality and accuracy
• Help coordinate materials when shortages occur
• Assist with service inspections in occupied homes when needed
