About The Position

The Field Checker supports the agronomy team by scouting crops, collecting field samples, and providing accurate observations to Crop Advisers. This role ensures that actionable data on plant health, soils, and field conditions is captured and reported in a timely manner to support crop management decisions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; agricultural experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of crops, soils, and plant health
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills
• Ability to work independently in outdoor environments
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel across assigned territories
• Comfortable using mobile devices and basic reporting tools

Responsibilities

• Scout assigned fields regularly for crop conditions, pests, and disease presence
• Collect plant tissue and soil samples according to established protocols
• Record accurate observations, sample data, and field notes
• Communicate findings clearly to Crop Advisers to inform crop management recommendations
• Maintain organized records of samples and observations
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines while working in the field
