Field Service Apprentice
About The Position
Hurco Companies, Inc. is looking for a Field Service Apprentice. The CNC Field Service Engineer Apprenticeship program is designed to provide the entry level basics that will be required for the career of the CNC Field Service Engineer. The intention of this program is to hire and develop smart and hardworking people, for the future of our company and our industry. As a field service engineer for Hurco Companies you will be an ambassador for our company working to provide technical support, training , and repair at our customers' facilities on state-of-the-art CNC machining and turning centers. Continuous training is provided throughout your career on emerging technologies in CNC controls, robot integration, 5 Axis machine and multi-spindle lathe installation, repair and applications. Once trained, the full time Field Service position does have required travel, that can be up to 80% of the time.
Requirements
- Either completed industrial technical training course, certificate program, or equivalent training or work experience
- Desire to work in manufacturing industry for a company providing advanced technology solutions
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Physically able to lift 50+ pounds
- Proficient with computers and knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications
