About The Position

Linx Printing Technologies is launching direct sales and service operations in the United States! As part of our ambitious growth plans, we’re looking for experienced Field Service Engineers to support our growing customer base across the US. In this role, you’ll be essential to building our reputation for outstanding service, supporting our innovative coding and marking solutions, and ensuring customers receive the highest standards of technical support. Field Service Engineers are responsible for installing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining Linx’s full range of coding and marking products across the United States. You’ll work hands-on at customer sites, ensuring our solutions operate at their best and our customers remain satisfied. This role requires regular travel between Dallas and Houston, including 2–3 nights away from home each week to support customer needs and scheduled service activity.

Requirements

  • Selfmotivation and a commitment to excellent service
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar
  • Experience with coding and marking technology, especially CIJ systems
  • 8+ years of experience working with Continuous Inkjet (CIJ) technology
  • Strong background in technical, engineering, customer service, or field service roles
  • Proven track record in field service and customer support
  • Valid US driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Install & Maintain Equipment: Set up, service, and repair coding and marking systems at customer sites
  • Respond to Breakdowns: Diagnose and fix issues quickly to keep customer operations running smoothly
  • Deliver Great Service: Build trust with customers through clear communication, professional support, and effective problemsolving
  • Travel to Customer Sites: Support customers primarily across Dallas and Houston, with 2–3 overnight stays per week
  • Handle Service Calls: Manage field service requests promptly and professionally
  • Document Work: Keep accurate records of service visits, repairs, and maintenance
  • Support Linx Solutions: Help customers get the most from their Linx equipment, ensuring high standards of performance and reliability
