Requirements

  • High School Diploma with 3-5 years of field service experience, complemented by strong mechanical proficiency and ability to use standard hand tools for complex subsystem disassembly and reassembly.
  • Proficient knowledge of multiple Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 2000, XP, 7, 10, 11) and Microsoft Office applications is required for successful performance in this role.
  • Must possess extensive understanding of basic computer networking, including the ability to use Windows tools to identify network and PC information, plus knowledge of router and switch setup and operation.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate file structures to locate and edit configuration and XML files, ensuring proper system functionality and customization.
  • Understanding of PC ghosting and re-imaging processes to efficiently restore, duplicate, and deploy system configurations across multiple devices.

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience in a S.T.E.M or technical related field

Responsibilities

  • Deliver world-class customer service and problem resolution at client sites, while cultivating positive customer relations through professional handling of complaints and inquiries in a collaborative and supportive manner.
  • Ensure maximum uptime and customer satisfaction by maintaining equipment properly and proactively identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact operations.
  • Instruct customers on proper operation and maintenance of BD Parata's pharmacy automation products, respond to service requests within SLA requirements, and collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Provide detailed documentation of issues and resolutions in Salesforce Field Service Lightning, while offering constructive feedback to management and engineering teams to drive product improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrate willingness to assist with new product implementations, travel outside the local region when required, and provide coverage during weekends and holidays to ensure continuous customer support.
