We are hiring for a Field Service Technician on a Part-Time Basis (up to 20 hours/week) to provide routine technical maintenance and service in retail locations within 100 miles of DMA. Flexible hours.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years relevant experience.
  • Must have experience working with consumer electronics and computers, and possess software system aptitude and networking knowledge.
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with excellent communication skills; reliability and accuracy are essential.
  • Must be motivated to work with minimal supervision
  • Must demonstrate excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills as well as superb organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to climb 6’ ladder, lift 30lbs, and ability to use basic hand and power tools
  • Superior customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with store management, help desk agents and PRN management
  • As a condition of employment, all successful candidates are required to consent and successfully pass mandatory drug and background screening prior to first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certification or college degree preferred.
  • Prior POS troubleshooting experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and replace software/hardware as needed in all assigned locations.
  • Provide detailed account of visits to PRN/STRATACACHE HD.
  • Maintain detailed records of each site visit, generate daily/weekly reports
  • Assume responsibility for prioritizing and completing all work following established policies and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationship with site management and associates to leverage problem resolution and compliance support
  • Other duties as assigned.
