Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two years automotive repair or technician experience working in a related industry.
Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems, transmissions, engines, gas and LP systems.
Strength to lift up to 75 lbs, pushing, pulling, twisting, bending, and kneeling required.
Clean driving record, willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

Prefer vocational training as a mechanic.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Toyota material handling equipment and all other makes of lift trucks, including forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, etc.
Ability to convey product knowledge and provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
Maintain regular communication with service managers, parts department, and dispatchers to expedite repairs and service.
Maintain timely and accurate accounting of labor hours, work orders, parts used for inventory.
Maintain a service van and its inventory.
