The Role Our Field Services team is expanding! We are looking for driven Field Service Technicians to support our customers across California. You will be the go-to expert for installing, repairing, and maintaining our parking and transit pay stations. This is an autonomous, high-impact role where you manage your company-issued service vehicle, tools and spare parts inventory while ensuring city infrastructure stays up and running. About you You are a reliable, hands-on problem solver who prefers the field to a desk. You’re comfortable working solo to keep your route moving, but you’re just as effective working alongside a crew to power through large-scale install projects. You take pride in keeping your gear in top shape and your paperwork precise. Whether you’re flying solo or syncing with the team, if you have a mechanical mindset and a "find a way" attitude, you’ll fit right in.

Requirements

  • DC Electrical Experience: Experience with 12v DC systems (like those found in cars, boats, or outdoor utilities).
  • Component-Level and Mechanical Troubleshooting: A proven ability to take things apart, find the fault, and put them back together.
  • Outdoor Resilience: Comfortable working outside year-round and navigating busy urban traffic and parking.
  • Clean Driving Record: A valid driver’s license in good standing is required.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Tech Savvy: Ability to use a tablet for work orders and basic software updates.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and Respond Promptly: Monitor assigned accounts for alerts and alarms to ensure equipment stays operational.
  • Technical Repairs: Troubleshoot and fix hardware issues on-site, including swapping modems, printers, and mainboards.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine check-ups on card readers, wireless modems, solar panels, batteries, and printers to prevent future breakdowns.
  • Inventory Management: Keep your service vehicle organized and stocked with the parts and tools needed for the day’s route.
  • Clear Reporting: Use a tablet or laptop to provide brief, professional updates on what you found and how you fixed it.
