About The Position

ProTransport-1 is looking for a Station Supervisor at our Oakland location. Pay Rate: $5.00/hr more than current pay rate / Pay Range: $25.96 - $44.01 Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Station Manager, Field Supervisors will assist both the Operations department and the Training department. This role will also work in the field with field employees that do not have partners and will conduct review shifts in the field. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly station(s) Liaison for the crews on any operational issues or concerns that may arise Assist in getting PCR corrections completed Assist with QA/QI Assist in ensuring proper vehicle maintenance Merge with lone crewmembers and work in the field Responsible for all duties of primary job, as well as other related duties deemed necessary to meet operational needs Thorough knowledge of all job functions in the station(s) Assist with all operational challenges Conduct or assist with New Hire Academy when needed Conduct or assist with FTO evaluations Conduct or assist with scheduling and working probationary employee review shifts, as well as non-probationary review shifts Act as an information resource for all field employees while on duty Ensure injury/exposure protocol is followed when contacted Keep up to date on new policies/procedures, equipment or protocol updates and distribute information as necessary Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow and see projects to completion
  • Portray a positive company image and attitude to all personnel
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Company expectations, standards, practices, policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Must have proficient computer skills (i.e. Excel, Word, )
  • Must maintain current industry standards through continuing education
  • Must maintain current licensure or certifications
  • All other requirements of an EMT or Paramedic, whichever position is applicable (see EMT or Paramedic job description)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • Previous training experience as an FTO
