We are seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to lead construction crews supporting environmental- and stormwater-focused projects in the Bay Area, with a primary base in Concord, California. This role is hands‑on and field‑based, responsible for supervising daily construction activities while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project plans, permits, and environmental requirements. The Field Supervisor serves as the on‑site leader, coordinating crews, equipment, and materials while working closely with project managers, environmental compliance staff, and clients.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 3- 5 years of experience supervising construction or environmental field crews
  • Valid Class A Driver License
  • Experience working on environmentally sensitive or regulated construction sites
  • Efficient time management to handle routine tasks and unexpected issues
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and environmental requirements
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct crews, coordinate subcontractors, and communicate effectively from the field
  • Familiarity with construction equipment, tools, and materials
  • Ability to work both in the office and in the field, with exposure to various weather conditions and potential hazards

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage field staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation
  • Coordinate daily field operations, ensuring that projects are executed according to plans and specifications
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Operations Manager
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines
  • Maintain accurate records of field activities, including work orders, timesheets, and incident reports
  • Communicate effectively with clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Assist in the planning and execution of field projects, including resource allocation and logistics
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets the required standards
  • Support the Operations Manager in budgeting and cost control for field operations
