About The Position

Versa Networks is seeking a Field Technical Alliances Director (FTAD) to lead the development and execution of strategic technology integrations with key ecosystem partners across the SASE, Zero Trust, cloud, and cybersecurity landscape. The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of product management, engineering, alliances, and the field sales organization, ensuring that technical partnerships move beyond announcements to deliver real integrations, differentiated architectures, and measurable business outcomes. This role is responsible for enhancing our relationships with existing technology partners and identifying with Product Management candidates for new relationships. The FTAD will own the relationship with the partners and will work to define end-to-end customer value propositions and accelerate joint revenue opportunities.

Requirements

  • Extensive travel will be required
  • 10+ years in enterprise networking, cybersecurity, or cloud software
  • Deep understanding of SASE, SD-WAN, and Zero Trust architectures
  • Experience managing technical alliances or product partnerships
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, SaaS integrations, and cloud architectures
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and enterprise sales teams

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Ecosystem Development - Identify and develop technical alliances with leading vendors across: Identity and access management Endpoint security and XDR Cloud platforms and SaaS security SIEM / observability platforms Infrastructure and networking vendors Others as appropriate
  • Field Enablement and Solution Development - Work closely with the Versa field organization to enable joint solution selling. Responsibilities include: Developing reference architectures and solution blueprints Building joint technical demos and use cases Supporting strategic enterprise opportunities
  • Joint Go-To-Market Execution - Partner with alliance vendors to develop joint customer solutions and go-to-market initiatives, including: Development of the overall technical partner program (including revenue models and GTM initiatives) Industry solution packages Joint technical webinars Field enablement programs Customer architecture workshops Strategic account collaboration
  • Partner Relationship Ownership - Act as the primary technical point of contact for strategic alliance partners. Maintain close working relationships with partner: product teams engineering teams alliance organizations
  • Customer and Market Feedback Loop - Bring insights from customers and the field back into Versa’s product and alliance strategy. Help identify emerging ecosystem opportunities across areas such as: Zero Trust architecture evolution Cloud-native security platforms AI-driven security analytics Hybrid workforce networking Other partnerships as appropriate
