About The Position

About the position: Select’s Field Technician I performs basic technical services at a customer site or in the field with a strong focus safety.

Requirements

• 0 to 2 years of related working experience is required.
• Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
• Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection
• Prolonged sitting, standing, walking
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to individually lift: Maximum 50 lbs
• Reports to Operations Manager.
• Highschool diploma or GED is preferred.
• Customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safe work policies and procedures during work shift.
• Completes required work plans, job safety analysis, observations, and attend safety meetings as required.
• Installs, adjusts, maintains, and repairs company equipment.
• Maintains a parts inventory and uses a variety of small tools and follows guidelines or instructions established by Select
• Maintains service or maintenance records.
• Must possess valid driver's license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Select's insurance guidelines.
• This position is classified as safety-sensitive and, like all roles within our organization, requires strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• A strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment is essential, and this role may be subject to regular safety training and assessments.
