About The Position

Filler Operator (Drum and Tote) 1st Shift (Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., may include overtime). This job is on-site at 19500 Mariner Avenue, Torrance, CA Rate of pay is $20.75-22.19 What You’ll Be Doing • Operate filling machines to fill drums and totes with materials accurately and efficiently. • Ensure proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of filling equipment. • Perform quality checks and inspections to verify that filled containers meet required specifications. • Ensure containers are sealed, labeled, and prepared for shipment according to company procedures. • Maintain cleanliness of the work area and ensure compliance with all safety protocols. • Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs. • Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of operational issues. • Record and document production data, including quantities filled and any incidents or deviations. • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials. • Enter inventory information and generate requested reports. • Operate a forklift to move materials. • Maintain and track inventory accurately. Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, squat, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Capable of working in various temperature and environmental conditions.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably as a Drum and Tote Filler Operator or similar role.
  • Basic understanding of machine operation and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts.
  • Experience with hazardous materials handling.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
