Due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full- time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. We are looking for a final assembly operator to support our 1st shift operations. The Assembly Operator will perform solder and/or hand assembly on a variety of circuit card assemblies and mechanical chassis. Typical requirements for daily activities include: Using appropriate tooling and machinery as provided, assembling electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies, kits, and modules according to specific written instructions Wiring subassemblies using wiring lists and diagrams. Completing routing instructions and process sheets. Verifying and inspecting products to ensure conformance to requirements and perform rework as needed. Performing mechanical and electrical assembly operations to build electronic assemblies using standard measuring tools and techniques. Following work order instructions, policies and procedures. Performing soldering and inspection when/if certified. Cross-training in other assembly positions, and performing other duties and responsibilities as required. Participating and supporting continuous improvement activities to make the process more efficient.
