About The Position

Food Production - Final Grinder PR02 - Full-Time Starting pay: $17.70/HR This position is responsible for operating machinery includes ongoing production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

• INTERNAL REQUIREMENTS AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION: Team Members with 4 attendance points or more (2 points or more under probation) will not be considered.
• You must not have received a written warning within the last 12 months.
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 65lbs occasionally and up to 17lbs continuously.
• Must be willing and able to push/pull/lift with arms below shoulder level up to 350 pounds
• Must be willing and able to visually inspect product for any deficiencies.
• Must be willing and able to perform repetitive movements.
• Must be willing and able to continuously push and move v-mags on wheels on a continuous basis.
• Must be willing and able to reach high and low levels, frequently.
• Must be willing and able to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently.
• Must be willing and able to climb step ladders and or stairs.
• Must be willing and able to stand on hard surface for up to 10 hours per day.
• Must be willing and able to do repetitive gripping, pushing and pulling.
• Must be willing and able to work in cold and damp environments.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities are to supply Marlins/Stuffers with WIP product for final processing.
• Perform set up and tear down on final grinder equipment.
• Will be cross trained on other areas as needed to assist with break relieve.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements.
• Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable.
• May use SAP if transferred /rotated.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
• Lock out Training is required.
• Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor.
