About The Position

Push piece of furniture to be inspected onto pneumatic lift. Visually match the law label and travel card prior to inspection. Use computer to call up the specs of the particular piece of furniture being inspecting using Interiors Plus software to ensure all options, finish and fabric/leather are correct. Visually inspect the piece for quality errors, use spot cleaner if needed. Use snips to clip any loose strings. Attach hang tags and arm caps using an attach-it gun. Occasionally use regulators and staple pullers to correct any quality flaws that may be present. Use steamer to attach label to seat decking. Push piece onto packing conveyor. May perform other duties/ special or non-routine assignments as instructed. Experience in Manufacturing Quality Control Preferred but willing to train.
