Final Packaging Operator - A & C Shifts
About The Position
Internal positions available in Final Packaging on A and C Shift! In this role you could be responsible for operating packaging equipment and preparing customer orders for shipment. Areas of responsibility for our final packaging operators: Package and label wire for stock and shipments, print out and label customer part numbers Meet all production and quality standards Cable test prior to respool if necessary, cut out any obvious quality defects in the cable Use the computer for labels, master information, process sheets, and to report production Read and comprehend shop floor paperwork including masters, process sheets, and SOPs
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents provided to operator machines printed in English.
- Basic math skills, required
- Ability to operate a computer, required
- Ability to communicate effectively with various employees throughout the facility
- Ability to work in both a team environment and as an individual contributor
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or machine operator position, preferred
