About The Position

Join the Team: Finance & Accounting Intern Location: La Vista, NE (In-Office) Type: Internship (Full-time Summer / Part-time Academic Year) Reporting to: Accounts Receivable Manager The Schedule Summer Months: Full-time (40 hours/week). Academic Year: Minimum 20 hours/week. Standard Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. You will gain hands-on experience across the entire accounting lifecycle, focusing on two core pillars: Accounting Operations Revenue & Billing: Support accounts receivable, billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition processes. General Ledger: Perform bank reconciliations, prepare GL entries, and assist with the month-end close. Cash Management: Help process payments, manage cash collections, and conduct financial research. Audit & Compliance Support internal audit initiatives to ensure we stay sharp and compliant. Uphold company policies and financial regulations. Who You Are We are looking for a detail-oriented "doer" who takes pride in the accuracy of their work. To thrive in this role, you should have: Academic Status: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. Technical Skills: A solid grasp of GAAP and proficiency in Excel. Mindset: A strong sense of ownership and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills. Reliability: Valid driver’s license and the ability to work from our La Vista office 5 days per week. Requirements
