A Day in the Life Careers that Change Lives: Join the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) finance team supporting Patient Care Systems (PCS) as a Financial Analyst. This role will report to the CRM PCS Finance Director and be on a team that supports revenue and directly manages OPC/Overhead spending and significant capital investment. The primary responsibilities of this position are to perform and analyze financial models, project accounting, budget management (expense and capital), participate in cross functional teams, and engagement in forecasting, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with 2 years of work experience in the field (Or Advanced Degree without experience)
Nice To Haves
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with enterprise financial systems (SAP, One Stream, 3C, PowerBI)
- Exposure to month-end close, forecasting and capital
- Experience with AI-powered tools (such as Copilot) in finance or analytics environment
- Demonstrated ability to interpret financial results, explain variances, and communicate key drivers to non-finance partners
- Strong collaboration, curiosity, and continuous-improvement mindset
Responsibilities
- Support monthly and quarterly close, including variance analysis vs. AOP, forecast, and prior periods
- Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations summarizing financial performance and business drivers for PCS leadership
- Support the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process
- Support capital processes, including preparation and submission of capital requests, overall PCS capital reporting and depreciation forecasting
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve finance processes and reporting within the CRM Finance team utilizing AI tools
