What: Analyze P&Ls, support FP&A, generate reports, and provide insights for profitable growth. Where: Atlanta, GA – on-site. When: Full-time, weekdays, reporting to Sr. Manager, Finance. Why: Ensure accurate financial analysis, drive category growth, and support strategic decisions.
Job Summary: The Finance Analyst partners with Sales, Marketing Development, Planning, and Customer Commercial Finance teams to drive profitable growth. This role reviews and actualizes line review and promotion P&Ls, supports FP&A forecasts, and provides insights into pricing, mix, and category performance.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 1–3 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in CPG.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SAP and Oracle/Hyperion planning systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and actualize line review and promotion P&Ls; advise Sr. Manager on approvals.
• Compare planned customer ITN rates versus checkbook with Customer Commercial Finance leads.
• Provide detail for Sales, Trade Funding, Mix, Customer A&P, Trade A/R, and customer accrual forecasts.
• Deliver promotion reporting to Brand Finance/MD&P using NTN system.
• Analyze price/mix drivers to identify category growth opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Take ownership of assigned issues, identifying root causes and driving solutions.
• Generate ad-hoc reports and timely insights to support decision-making.
