About The Position

As the Finance Leader for Global Procurement, this role will be the Finance Leader and Finance Business Partner for the Global Procurement Organization (GPO) and Business SCM teams, with a focus on $12B+ spend oversight. This role is part of the newly created Operations Finance organization within the Supply Chain Finance team and will be expected to work cross functionally across the organization to analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement throughout the Procurement supply base (profitability, cash flow, resiliency, lead times, quality). Partner with the GPO and Business teams to ensure Category strategies are developed and implemented for Direct Materials, Indirect Materials, and Logistics. Lead a team of high-level finance analysts to provide in-depth details and strategies that create alignment with the businesses for all categories around risk, opportunities, and performance. Identify specific opportunities and actions by leveraging SCM tools, such as should cost and total cost of ownership, to drive accountability and execute actions across the Enterprise. Partner with GPO, Business SCM, and Project Management teams to manage the project pipeline and project hopper progression, ensuring financial commitments are achieved. Lead efforts in determining and achieving targets for the annual Profit Plan, including setting specific goals and objectives for each Business and Category regarding Cost Out, Payment Terms, and Inflation Mitigation. Coordinate and lead monthly Actual and Forecast reviews with the GPO and Business SCM teams concerning supplier and category cost out, payment term performance, and economic impacts. Develop and maintain meaningful and actionable reporting on performance, including spend (purchases, receipts, invoices paid), cost out, supplier price increase requests, payment term progression, resiliency, and compliance to policy and programs at the Business and Category levels. Support and partner with applicable teams to implement and update policies, procedures, systems, and programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in progressive Finance roles
  • Experience as a finance business partner in a complex, best-in-class finance function
  • This includes no support for CPT, OPT, STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Economics preferred, from an accredited institution
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration from an accredited institution
  • Experience supporting a supply chain or procurement organization as finance partner
  • FP&A and finance operations experience, including cost accounting and productivity analysis
  • Experience within a global or multinational manufacturing company
  • Strong analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and project management abilities
  • Thorough understanding of financial business processes
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify strategic approaches for proactive solutions
