To support our team, we are hiring a Finance Manager (FP&A and Accounting). This is an on-site position at our company’s office in Saint Petersburg, FL and will report to our Chief Financial Officer. The Finance Manager is responsible for leading all financial planning, analysis, and core accounting operations across our organization. This role owns budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, management reporting, and financial close processes and providing accurate, timely, and insightful information to guide operational and strategic decisions. The Finance Manager partners closely with cross‑functional teams, manages a small accounting/finance team, and collaborates with external accounting, audit, and tax partners.

Requirements

  • Mastery of financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and ability to distill complex data into clear insights
  • Strong business acumen and exceptional communication skills, including the ability to present confidently to senior leadership
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and consistency in financial models and accounting processes
  • Demonstrated collaboration across Commercial, Operations, R&D, and other cross‑functional teams
  • Ownership mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach to managing both strategic and operational work
  • Strong critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to challenge assumptions constructively
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Self‑driven, accountable, and able to work independently
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field
  • 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, consulting, or related fields
  • Proven FP&A experience including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Experience working with external auditors and tax advisors
  • Hands-on accounting experience and involvement in financial close
  • Familiarity with KPIs, dashboards, and board-level reporting
  • Experience driving automation and process improvements
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP-compliant close processes
  • Understanding of general ledger, reconciliations, AR/AP oversight, and tax support
  • Knowledge of multistate payroll regulations and accurate oversight of payroll compliance and tax regulations
  • Ability to maintain and improve internal controls and accounting policies
  • Capacity to mentor and guide finance staff while managing workload allocation
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel occasionally
  • Willingness to work flexible hours during peak periods
  • Ability to work primarily on-site with hybrid options after onboarding
  • Strong professional judgment and personal accountability
  • Ability to work independently while supporting cross-functional teams
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States
