About The Position

Manage funds to maximize return on investment while minimizing risk, and ensure that an adequate control structure is in place over the transfer and investment of funds. Engage in financial analysis in such areas as forecasting, budgeting, cost reduction analysis, and reviewing operational performance. Responsible for the receipt, custody, control, and disbursement of Company cash accounts and funds and supervising banking functions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required
5+ years’ experience in a cash or financial management position
Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience of maintaining cash management policy, procedures and practices
Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience of cash management and treasury functions
Detail-oriented and organized, and have strong skills in math, communication and analysis

Responsibilities

Supervise the Financial Analyst/Coordinator and ensure an accurate and timely daily reporting and monthly, quarterly and year end close
Oversee the operations of the Finance department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives
Forecast cash flow and prepare reporting to internal management and corporate headquarters
Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational requirements
Maintain relationships with key bank and credit card company managers. Monitor compliance with bank credit facility.
Engage in ongoing cost reduction and operational efficiency analyses of internal operations of the company for both cash receipts and payments processing.
Oversee sales tax compliance and data submissions to monthly filing service
Develop analyses, recommend and monitor Finance department policies and strategies
Establish system controls for new financial systems and develop procedures to improve existing systems
Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management
