About The Position

The Finance Manager plays a crucial, hands-on role in supporting the overall financial health and operational efficiency of the organization. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, with additional accountability to the Vice President of Operations, this role is responsible for executing core financial processes, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and providing essential analytical support. The Finance Manager oversees the Finance Analyst and is critical in the daily implementation of forecasting, budgeting, and compliance activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • Minimum three (3) years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, or management.
  • At least one (1) year of experience working in the finance of healthcare services or insurance products is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to perform financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medi-Cal benefits and regulatory requirements is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in using appropriate financial software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced formulas).
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and interacting with diverse stakeholders.
  • A meticulous and detail-oriented approach to ensure high levels of accuracy in financial data and reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • At least one (1) year of experience working in the finance of healthcare services or insurance products is strongly preferred.
