About The Position

As a key member of the BI team, the Finance & Operations Analyst supports both the Director of Finance and Chief Operating Officer by delivering data-driven financial and operational insights that inform strategic and day-to-day business decisions. This role bridges finance, operations, and analytics by developing Power BI Dashboards, enhancing reporting capabilities, and providing our Regional Directors of Operations with the data insights required to improve operational performance. This role will also closely work with our data team to evaluate and implement emerging AI tools to improve operational insights across the organization. This is a highly visible role that will directly interact with many C-Suite executives, including the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Clinical Officer, in the pursuit of actionable operational insights that will make a meaningful impact on business performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, operations, or related field required. Total overall experience can be substituted for a degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, operational finance, consulting, or similar role.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to financial analysis, Power BI Dashboards, and AI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chief Operating Officer is daily review of performance metrics, identifying areas of opportunity to drive operational improvements.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards focused on operational KPIs, performance trends, and financial outcomes.
  • Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecasts and explain result.
  • Support field operators with understanding operational results and identifying areas of improvement.
  • Develop financial reporting and insights for Monthly Operating Report (MOR) meetings with the regional operators and select members of the Behavioral Innovations Leadership team.
  • Support the Chief Clinical Officer with ongoing clinical data development and dashboard creation.
  • Support the Chief Executive Officer with ad hoc requests.
  • Build effective working relationships with department heads and business partners.
  • Identify and resolve reporting discrepancies across various systems and data sources.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process by gathering data and building forecasts.
  • Support preparation of board materials and executive presentations.
  • Conduct basic profitability analysis and performance tracking.
  • Support month-end financial reporting and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Partner with the Data Team to evaluate and leverage emerging AI and data tools to improve reporting efficiency, forecasting quality, and operational decision-making.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis for various members of Behavioral Innovations Leadership team as needed.
