About The Position

The Finance Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily revenue audit functions across gaming and non-gaming operations to ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and accurate financial reporting. This role oversees audit staff, reviews reconciliations and exception reporting, and partners with operational departments to safeguard company assets and maintain revenue integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Accredited College or University preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relative or related experience including some management oversight.
  • At least one (1) year supervisory or management experience.
  • Ability to learn new software and adoption of new technology.
  • Working knowledge of gaming and non-gaming auditing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team under tight deadlines and changing directives.
  • Must be 21 years of age and have the ability to obtain a Gaming Registration.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, be well organized, and perform in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Adherence to all policies stated in the Team Member Handbook.
  • Supervise and assign daily workflow for revenue audit Team Members across assigned shifts.
  • Review audit workpapers, reconciliations, and exception documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide training, coaching, and guidance to revenue audit staff on internal controls, audit procedures, and departmental policies.
  • Verify the contents of all paperwork sent to Finance from operational venues and ensure sales, revenue, and cost of revenue are recorded accurately.
  • Conduct and oversee gaming revenue audits, which include, but are not limited to, table games, slots, casino cage, entertainment, and players club.
  • Conduct and oversee non-gaming revenue audits, which include, but are not limited to, all food and beverage outlets, hotel, retail, and accounts receivable.
  • Produce and distribute gaming and non-gaming revenue reports daily, monthly, and yearly.
  • Log, investigate, and document exceptions to gaming regulations and internal controls.
  • Observe and verify month-end physical inventories as assigned.
  • Participate in and supervise month-end slot machine readings as assigned.
  • Track all concert and special event ticket sales and reconcile supporting documentation.
  • Key in and balance comps into the computer system and produce comp reports by individual comp issuer.
  • Verify accounts receivable activity and follow up on discrepancies.
  • Process credit card transactions and assist in resolving disputes with customers and credit card vendors.
  • Process travel agent commissions and customer refunds in accordance with company policy.
  • Conduct collection activities for returned checks as assigned.
  • Perform daily compliance audits, generate reports, research variances, and assist with updates to internal controls.
  • Review and perform month-end reconciliations and support revenue-related close processes.
  • Perform gaming and non-gaming revenue reporting reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial results.
  • Review Title 31 audit documentation and support submission of CTRs and SARs.
  • Communicate audit findings and variances to Finance leadership and operational departments as appropriate.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating departmental procedures and internal control documentation.
  • Such other job-related duties may be assigned by instruction of management.
