About The Position

Ericsson is seeking an analytical and forward-thinking Financial Analyst to join our expanding team. In this crucial role, you will not only conduct meticulous financial analyses and projections based on our unit's targets, but you'll also craft and convey insightful reports that aid critical business decisions. As our Financial Analyst, you will act as the lynchpin of our financial planning and performance evaluations ensuring our processes are in line with global protocols and designed to endorse value-creation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related; CPA/CMA/MBA a plus. PMP/Prosci or equivalent change credentials are beneficial.
  • 5+ years of Finance or Accounting work experience (FP&A, Business/Commercial Finance, Corporate Finance, or public accounting); telecom or tech a plus.
  • Proven project management and change management expertise driving multi‑workstream initiatives.
  • Strong executive communication and storytelling skills; able to craft decision‑ready narratives and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI; experience with SAP/S4, BPC, or similar ERPs/EPMs.
  • Comfort with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and benefits tracking; ability to connect metrics to operational levers.
  • Familiarity with IFRS and/or GAAP accounting principles.
  • Hands‑on process improvement toolkit (Lean, SOPs, controls); bias for simplification and scale.
  • High curiosity and evidence of rapid skill acquisition; thrives in ambiguous environments and moves fast on well‑formed hypotheses.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Finance transformation initiatives in MA Americas, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across Financial Planning and Analysis.
  • Develop business cases (P&L, cash flow, NPV), set success metrics, and track progress with OKR-based dashboards focused on finance results.
  • Streamline processes in FP&A, closing/forecasting cycles, and decision support; standardize playbooks and controls to boost efficiency and transparency.
  • Create concise executive communications that turn complex finance topics into actionable leadership insights.
  • Collaborate across Finance, Accounting, Commercial, and Operations to unify data, policies, and tools, delivering insights that drive performance.
  • Design analytics and executive reporting to built by Finance automation team. Power BI skills a plus.
  • Promote agile practices, enable continuous learning, and embed scalable processes for lasting transformation in Business Finance.
  • Show ownership, act with discipline and humility, learn quickly, and consistently execute autonomous, high-standard business finance transformations.
  • Drive AI acceleration in finance operations, leveraging emerging technologies to automate workflows and unlock deeper data insights.

  • The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
  • Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan : Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.
  • Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of three medical plan options and a dental plan option that allow an employee to select the level of coverage that suits their needs. Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents.
  • The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson match $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson’s full matching contributions of 4%. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson’s Stock Purchase Plan.
  • New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
