Contribute to the next leg of growth in IMA Private Wealth, building your practice with the help of local and national resources for planning, investments, operations, technology, and compliance. Collaborate with 20+ local IMA insurance brokers (400+ nationally) on client cross-referrals. Be part of a long-term succession plan to ensure continuity of client experiences. Essential job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Proactively source, develop, and secure new client relationships through referrals, networking, centers of influence, and cross-selling opportunities. Build, manage, and expand a book of business consisting of affluent and high‑net‑worth individuals and families. Construct and deliver goals‑based financial planning (in partnership with specialized planning resources where needed) across retirement, fee-based investment management, tax‑aware strategies, estate planning coordination, risk management, and education funding. Conduct in‑depth financial analyses and present clear, actionable plans that drive client engagement and long‑term commitment. Work collaboratively with the IMA Private Wealth investment team to design, implement, and manage investment portfolios focused on long-term principal growth and protection using disciplined asset allocation, rebalancing, and ongoing monitoring processes. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, collaborating with CPAs, attorneys, and other external professionals as needed. Communicate complex financial concepts in a clear, relatable manner that builds confidence and encourages informed decision‑making. Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and broaden service offerings through ongoing planning discussions. Maintain adherence to fiduciary standards, SEC/State regulations, and internal compliance policies. Stay current on market trends, planning strategies, and regulatory developments. Contribute to firm‑wide growth initiatives and provide mentorship to junior advisors or planners as appropriate. Support and demonstrate IMA’s core values. Value and understand the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates. Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
