Serve as primary point of contact for students requiring information and support before and during the financial aid process. Document tracking and aid processing. Satisfactory Academic Progress & Professional Judgement. Maintain accurate student records in alphabetical order. Internal and external reporting and monitoring. Responsible for sending default notifications for students in their cohort. Make bi-monthly contact with students who are in default or at risk of default. Ensure students have received required exit counseling directions and have completed exit counseling prior to graduation. Participate in student recruitment and retention activities including attending open house events, information sessions and other events as requested to offer guidance to prospective students. Assist with the review of internal and outside scholarship eligibility using Scholarship Universe. Maintains the highest standards of personal and professional conduct in dealing with internal and external customers. Protect and maintain confidentiality of records Works cooperatively with others to achieve goals. Displays an appreciation of the difference in approaches, personalities and viewpoints of others. Seeks out and accepts increased responsibilities. Works to keep work activities productive and focused on results. Perform other duties within the scope of this position. Deliver efficient customer service skills and telephone etiquette to communicate effectively. Work extensively on special projects for loan proration, Pell grant adjustments, and unusual enrollment history. Acts as back-up to other positions within the unit and may be required to perform others’ duties.
