One of our clients needs a Financial Analyst III for a permanent position. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst III - Data and Business Intelligence to join our team and contribute to critical financial analysis and reporting initiatives. This role requires clearance authorization, enabling access to sensitive information essential for strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in financial concepts, data analysis, audit readiness, and business intelligence tools to support our mission-driven projects as well as Navy ERP structures.

Requirements

Recent Navy Business Operations Financial Analyst experience including leading Business Process Improvement (BPI) initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and the Navy's "Get Real Get Better" (GRGB) methodology to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Experience utilizing technical and analytical tools to support financial operations includes creating customized reports and templates with Microsoft Power BI, Access Database, and Excel for in-depth data analysis.
Minimum of five years of recent experience (current or within the last two years)
Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

Performs advanced financial analysis, forecasting, and budgetary assessments.
Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
Translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights
Design and implement business intelligence solutions supporting leadership decisions
Conduct trend analysis, variance analysis, and cost optimization studies
Support planning, programming, budgeting and execution (PPBE) activities
Support audit readiness, compliance, and internal control efforts
Prepare clear, detailed financial reports and presentations that communicate complex concepts effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
