About The Position

The Financial Analyst - Revenue plays a key role on the Financial Services team and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and optimization of airport revenues through contract-driven billing, accounts receivable (AR) oversight, revenue analysis, and reporting. This position serves as a crucial financial resource for monitoring airline, tenants, and concession revenues, analyzing trends and variances, maintaining rate structures, and supporting compliance with contractual, regulatory, and audit requirements. While this role retains responsibility for day-to-day accounts receivable functions, it is primarily focused on revenue analytics, process improvement, and decision support within a complex airport operating environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in accounts receivable, revenue analysis, financial analysis, or accounting.
  • Experience working in a contract‑driven and/or regulated environment is preferred.

  • Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills are essential, with the ability to analyze complex data, investigate variances, and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Success in this role requires attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and analyze contract‑driven revenue billing for airlines, tenants, concessions, and other airport revenue streams by interpreting lease agreements, use agreements, and approved rate schedules to ensure accurate, compliant invoicing.
  • Translate complex contract terms, billing drivers, and rate structures into accurate timely charges, exercising professional judgment to resolve ambiguities and ensure consistency with regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Analyze, validate, and maintain billing inputs and statistical data (airline, concession, FBO, parking, and ground transportation) to ensure data integrity and support trend, variance, and reasonableness analyses.
  • Prepare, analyze, and interpret monthly revenue reports, independently investigating significant variances and recommending follow‑up actions to support informed decision‑making.
  • Support revenue forecasting, budgeting, and rate‑setting activities by applying historical trends, operational metrics, and analytical insights.
  • Address all accounts receivable activities, including recording payments, preparing and making bank deposits, reconciling receipts, monitoring payment activity and aging trends, identifying delinquency risks, and researching and resolving short‑payments, discrepancies, and customer inquiries.
  • Serve as support point of contact for airlines, tenants, and internal stakeholders regarding billing, revenue data, rate application, and account status.
  • Support month‑end close through revenue analysis, reconciliations, and reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial results.
  • Prepare and maintain audit‑ready documentation and support external audits, internal reviews, regulatory reporting (including FAA Air Cargo), annual financial statements, and Single Audit requirements.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, risks, and control gaps within revenue, billing, and accounts receivable workflows, and recommend or support system enhancements and automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance, Properties, Operations, Parking, Badging, and leadership on data integrity, internal controls, and revenue alignment initiatives.
