As one of the 5 business units within VAS, Risk and Identity Solutions (RaIS) helps prevent fraud across the entire payment journey, across all payment endpoints and networks—without stopping the flow of business. We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Risk and Identity Solutions team. This role requires interpersonal skills to cultivate partnerships across functions, regions, and teams, to successfully enact all planning, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting processes. This role presents results and provides insights and analysis to business partners and executives. The ideal candidate has a background in financial analysis, preferably with a public company, and proven results collaborating with team members and supported functions. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Nice To Haves

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)

Responsibilities

  • Supports the coordination, organization, and execution of quantitative and qualitative analyses. Examples of activities include traditional budgeting and forecasting, month-end close, enhanced financial / business reporting, business case development, pricing analysis, P&L generation, and business planning support
  • Supports business case development for key initiatives, ad hoc requests, and special projects
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders in the business and serves as a key point of contact for finance issues
  • Acquires and maintains a deep understanding of the strategies, priorities, and issues of the business
  • Applies overall analytical skills and experience to become a highly valued business partner
  • Identifies and implements changes that improve efficiency and effectiveness of operational decision making
  • Learn and understand Visa’s financial reporting systems: run data queries, build financial architecture, and support finance technology initiatives
  • Builds near and long-term views for growth that align with business strategy and data
