How the Financial & Operations System Administrator works with the team: The Financial & Operations Systems Administrator to serve as a key pillar in the digital transformation of our resort’s finance function. This role is responsible for both core accounting activities and the system architecture of Sage Intacct. The ideal candidate doesn't manage the General Ledger; they own the workflows that connect Sage Intacct to our operational systems (SnowCloud, RMS, etc.) to our financial data.

Requirements

  • Systems Proficiency: Minimum of 2–3 years of direct, hands-on administrative/configuration experience in Sage Intacct. Candidates with experience only in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero who are "willing to learn" will not be considered for this specific systems-focused role.
  • The "Architect" Mindset: A proven history of identifying manual bottlenecks and building technical solutions (e.g., automated AP routing, recurring journal entry templates, or API-based imports) to resolve them.
  • Data Integrity Focus: Exceptional ability to map operational data (skier visits, food/bev transactions) to financial accounts to ensure accurate, timely reporting.
  • Operational Empathy: Ability to communicate complex financial system logic to non-financial department heads (Lift, F&B, Ski School) in a way that helps them manage their own budgets better.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the hospitality, leisure, or ski resort industry.
  • Background in supporting accounting operations for organizations with multiple locations/business units.
  • Specific certification in "Sage Intacct Implementation" or "Sage Intacct Accounting Specialist."
  • Familiarity with Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) configuration.

Responsibilities

  • Sage Intacct Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for our Sage Intacct instance, focusing first on the configuration and optimization of Purchasing, Fixed Assets Accounting, AP, AR, Cash Management, Budgets
  • Process Automation: Lead the initiative to move from manual, spreadsheet-heavy processes to fully automated workflows within Sage Intacct, ensuring real-time visibility into resort performance.
  • Systems Integration: Partner with our technology and operations teams to integrate third-party resort management software with Sage Intacct, ensuring data integrity across all platforms.
  • Dashboarding & Reporting: Design and maintain automated executive dashboards within Sage Intacct, translating complex resort data into actionable KPIs (RevPA, EBITDA, etc.).
  • Financial Integrity: While automations are being implemented, directly handle certain staff accounting entry responsibilities.
