Reporting to the Financial Planning Data Input Supervisor, the Financial Planning Data Input Specialist 1 is responsible for entering financial data into a variety of financial planning systems while maintaining confidentiality of client information. Essential Functions Maintains various financial planning systems by entering new and updated client account information which may include financial statements, investment holdings, debt schedule, personal lifestyles, and insurance policies. Maintains client confidence and protects the Firm by keeping information confidential. Establishes data entry priorities based on assigned workload and deadlines. Maintains data entry requirements by following Firm processes and procedures. Communicates with Planning teams in a timely manner to ensure information is accurate and up to date. Responsibilities & Duties Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information. Processes client and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies. Verifies entered client and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data. Combines data from various systems when account information is incomplete. Purges files as needed to eliminate duplication of data. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Assists planning teams as needed to securely submit client information to third parties such as lenders and insurance providers. Ad hoc duties as required.
