About The Position

The Financial Reporting Manager will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across monthly, quarterly, and annual periods. This position involves preparing detailed financial statements, analyzing accounting data, and serving as a technical accounting resource. You will collaborate with internal teams and external auditors, assist with accounting research, and support the adoption of new accounting standards. The role requires strong knowledge of US GAAP, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple reporting priorities in a remote work environment. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, strategic finance setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA certification required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting and/or financial reporting, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP)
  • Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment

Nice To Haves

  • Big 4 accounting experience is a plus
  • Experience with financial reporting tools such as Hyperion Financial Management is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly reporting packages, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Compile quarterly and annual financial statements with accompanying footnotes
  • Coordinate reviews and audits with external auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Assist in the adoption of new accounting pronouncements and perform accounting research as needed
  • Support preparation and review of 401(k) and statutory financial statements
  • Assist in monthly accounting close processes and other corporate accounting activities
  • Contribute to special projects, such as financial system implementations, as required
