Financial Reporting Manager
About The Position
LGI Homes is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager at our Corporate Headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas. We are seeking Financial Reporting professionals who are self-motivated and eager to dive into the LGI Homes system and culture. The Financial Reporting Manager will lead accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting for our public company. You will prepare GAAP financial statements, support SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), and participate in month-end and quarter-end close. This role includes tax accounting responsibilities, including provision calculations, deferred taxes, and coordination with external advisors. The Financial Reporting Manager will also partner with external auditors and an external tax firm, and communicate with all levels within the company.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- CPA is also preferred.
- Five to eight years of public company financial reporting experience, including SEC filings.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC rules, SOX compliance, and tax accounting.
- Experienced with ERP/reporting systems, including Workiva.
