About The Position

CSPNJ a mental health nonprofit agency is looking for a self-motivated Financial Services Rep. Under the direct supervision of the Finance Director the FSR provides financial management services to person's served with a mental health diagnosis. The FSR will educate person's served on money management and assist in setting financial goals. HIGHLIGHTS: Meet with person's served interested in financial assessment and facilitate establishing personalized financial goals. Aid in obtaining the required paperwork to open financial service accounts. Act as a custodian for person's served trust accounts. Coach person's served on how to develop and maintain a monthly budget. Assist person's served in tracking their credit score and enrolling in savings programs. Process and write checks for person's served expenditure. Full-time | Benefit Eligible (Medical, free DMO dental & free vision) including 6 weeks PTO & 11 Holidays

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor’s in a financial discipline or High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years’ experience in financial services.
  • Financial literacy skills required!
  • Strong bookkeeping skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional time management and customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office products, as well as general computer literacy.
  • Ability to work with individuals with mental illness in a caring and professional manner.
  • Valid NJ Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
